Ontario public school support staff lashed out at the education minister today, saying they are bearing the brunt of cuts.
Teachers' assistants and aides gave Education Minister Kathleen Wynne a rough ride when she addressed the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation meeting in Toronto.
They heckled Wynne and told her their services are being cut because there isn't enough money coming from the government.
Union president Ken Coran says the Liberals seem more focused on the coming election than dealing with the growing problems in Ontario schools.
But Wynne says the Liberals have made great strides in education, increasing funding and the number of support staff in schools.
She says there is more work to be done and that the Liberals will discuss the issue further in the party's election platform.
